In parallel with the economic developments in the world and in our country in recent years, the changing need of companies in our country has also accelerated the efforts to develop their organizations and create corporate identity. Many Turkish companies have become closely related to developed countries in terms of business development, trade and partnership as well as commercial and foreign credit usage. In these institutional relations, companies are examined not only for their external appearance but also their internal structures, corporate governance principles and corporate identities.
Growth in line with the expanding trade volume of the companies and the rapid increase in the number of medium and large sized companies eventually resulted in the search for solutions of traditional and non-institutional companies in our country.
The need for institutionalization to achieve a more professional and competitive structure and become an international player has become a necessity with globalization. The adoption of all of these within the company depends on the restructuring of the classical organizations according to their daily needs and the improvement of the performances of the company's units.
In this context, there have been many radical changes in the criteria and performance measurement systems for assessing the effectiveness of companies and their outcomes. Concepts such as EVA (Economic Value Added) stand out. Now management organizations should focus not only on profitability, turnover etc. but on "shareholder value".
Creating sustainable competitive power in the Global World and in our own geography is now vital for our companies. The way to do this is to use and improve the information and technology that Global World has presented to us.
As a result, corporatism must be in constant change for sustainable growth. The motto "the only thing that does not change is change" must always be remembered.
